Skytrex Sungai Congkak, Hulu Langat

Since July 2019 Skytrex Sungai(shortened as Sg) Congkak (Congkak River) has replaced Skytrex Shah Alam Adventure Park as the premier jungle canopy zipline adventure in Selangor. Skytrex Shah Alam had been closed since March 2019 due to a storm causing irreparable damage to all of its circuits and the forest which formed the adventure's natural attraction.

Skytrex Sg Congkak is located inside Chongkak Park & Resorts which is a section of the Sungai Congkak Recreational Forest, a popular recreational spot for families and friends to picnic over the weekends and holidays.

Getting to Skytrex Sg Congkak requires you to drive about 1 hour from Kuala Lumpur from large busy highways and city buildings to smaller town roads and then onto to village roads with wooden houses and small farmlands in Hulu Langat. The scenery changes dramatically allowing visitors to see the country side of Malaysian life. As fruit season changes, street side vendors will deck out their store front with different fruits for sale. Plan your journey early or keep your schedule open after Skytrex so you can stop by popular eateries for food, snack and drinks, buy fruits and snacks, or visit the other Hulu Langat attractions such as waterfalls and hotspring.

7km away from Sg Congkak Recreational Forest is the entrance to another famous attraction, the Gunung Nuang Recreational Forest. It is a popular destination for waterfall lovers, hikers and trail runners. Besides dipping in the cool natural river water in the lowlands, intrepid hikers will thread through dense jungle trails up to Selangor's highest peak, Mount Nuang (1,493m).

Skytrex Sg Congkak has 2 Circuits

Skytrex Sg Congkak's circuits will test your balancing skills as well as your strength and mental confidence. There are 2 circuits, River Thrill and River Extreme, offering a total of 38 activities which will have you standing, climbing, walking, swinging and zipping high above the ground! There isn't a children's circuit built yet.

There are several exit points should you find the challenges too much to handle or if there's an emergency requiring your immediate evacuation.

Below images are only hints of what you might negotiate on the courses. There are numerous challenges which we will not show here because we'd rather have you find out on the courses itself!  The challenges will give you a good workout.

- Minimum Height 110 meters.
- Maximum weight 100kg.
- Children below 13 years must be accompanied by a Parent/Guardian. 1 Child to 1 Parent/Guardian.

FAQ

How safe are Skytrex courses?
It is safe as long as you follow instructions given during training. The trees, cables, harnesses and platforms are always checked and replaced or repaired.
There are always Skytrex facilitators at selected platforms on the circuit to help participants. There will also be Skytrex facilitators patroling the ground to observe participants.

How many people per session/slot?
Kindly refer to table above for the maximum number of participants for each time slot. Skytrex does not always operate all day on weekdays. Best is to check availability early and make a confirmation booking instead of walking in.
For large groups, you will need to be divide group according to the capacity stated above and inform us. Note that on event date, each group will have to wait for their alloted session and delays are expected.

Is there drinks available?
You can purchase cold drinks at the Skytrex counter or park stall operators.

Is Skytrex open 7 days a week?
Yes, kindly refer to schedule above.

For weekdays, new slots might be scheduled IF you have minimum 20 participants. Please book and pay early to avoid disappointment.

What happens if it rains?
Activities continue in light rain. If heavy rainfall or if lightning occurs, Skytrex facilitators will inform participants on the nearest exit on the circuit to find safety.

Is there refund if we stop due to rain?
No refunds for bad weather, acts of war, late, illness etc. Basically no refunds.

Age restrictions for the courses?
Participants aged 13 years and below must be accompanied by a parent/guardian.

Do I need to pre-book with FULL payment or can I just walk-in?
Skytrex is very popular. Skytrex slots can be filled several weeks ahead. If you do not book in advance and decide to just walk-in, you run the risk of long delays or being turned away onsite which can be a real disappointment after driving the long distance.
Full pre-payment is required for confirmation of any available slot.

What do I do once I have paid and confirmed for the slot?
You will receive a receipt from us upon your confirmation. In the receipt there will be a Skytrex contact number only active on event date.

On event date:
1. Arrive minimum 40 minutes before your slot because it can be awfully crowded.
2. Bring your indemnity form to speed up registration at Skytrex. Please be early or you may lose your slot!
Proceed to main administration counter then submit Indemnity forms to check-in. A Skytrex facilitator will give you further instructions.
3. Walk over to Equipment Counter to receive & wear your numbered harness
4. Proceed to training
5. Join queue to the relevant Skytrex circuit!!
6. Upon completion of the course, please return the harness at the Equipment Counter.

Large groups bookings during weekdays

New slots for weekdays may be added by management IF there are a minimum 25 participants. Please add the participant number to the relevant circuit in the web enquiry form.

No more slots new slots can be opened for the weekend.

Teambuilding, teambonding or a telematch with a Skytrex course?

We organize teambuilding events with Skytrex activities. Skytrex circuits can be used as an ice-breaking activity and work-out session.

There are 2 options:

Trainer-led teambuilding activities with workshops with discussions and debriefing sessions.

Affordable Simple Telematch Teambonding activities where fun and breaking down barriers between workers and group members are keyged here as well.
