New to WHOA? We are an adventure advisory for some of the best adventures found in Peninsular Malaysia and East Malaysia/Borneo.

How do you use WHOA website?

On the left side of every page, browse adventures in the CHOOSE YOUR ADVENTURE menu or use the SEARCH box to seek an adventure by keyword.
You can even search:
by the level of excitement: "hardcore", "family", "intermediate"
by activity: "jungle trekking", "caving", "waterfall"
by location or by subject: "Mount Kinabalu", "Penan", "Riverboarding"

We have categorized Malaysia's best adventures by the environment they belong to. This allows you, the traveler, with little knowledge of Malaysia to find the type of adventure that you are best familiar with. Furthermore, the dropdown menus allow you to discover other adventures which you might be interested in. Additionally, on each adventure page, a block below the CHOOSE YOUR ADVENTURE menu called the RELATED ADVENTURE suggests activities that are similar to the current adventure page your are viewing.

Can I enquire and book for multiple adventures?

Yes, you can send us an Enquiry for the main adventure then add your extra requests through the Remarks section in the form. There is a enquiry link at the top of the adventure page and at the bottom.

If you come across a page without links to enquire then it is not an adventure page. An adventure page has additional information such as rates, itinerary, what to wear or bring, directions and further descriptions.

Are we Cheap?

Personally we try not to be Cheap b*stards. We have outgrown the frugal college days and now prefer some quality in our lives and have minimum standards for products and services. This is reflected in our ricing as well.  Since we are an organization for profit and we've invested into a decent looking website, paid for its hosting, provide employment plus we have partners to pay, mouths to feed and have dreams to fulfill, we aren't dirt cheap. We are competitively priced and we can confidently disclose to you that the prices DO NOT reflect the efforts (costs) involved in uncovering the adventures and countless days spent developing the content for you to discover it.

Are you trustworthy and reliable?

Yes we are!! 

We are a business registered in Malaysia and we've been in operations since 2004. We work with reliable and responsible service providers. Our website is unofficially listed in some popular travel forums including Tripadvisor and Lonely Planet. One of us has appeared in at least one domestic health and lifestyle magazine plus newspaper. One of us has appeared on the very popular domestic business radio station called BFM89.9 - our favourite radio station, by the way . One of us has appeared on an international travel program hosted by Ethan Zoen, a Survivor Island winner.

Can i meet someone from WHOA?

We are online hermits preferring to hide out in nature and under the sun in between replying emails and doing administrative work. Rain doesn't dampen our spirits unless we are in formal wear. 

If you book an adventure, we might just appear in front of you.
