Langkawi Sea & Mangrove Kayaking

This off-the-beaten-path tour led by our friend and naturalist, Juergen, will bring you or rather, have you paddle into small and narrow mangrove forest canals, leading to secret caves. Some of which can be traversed with the kayaks, while others require some jungle trekking in order to be reached. Join this amazing scenic 'low impact on nature' adventure! It's not a very well known tour so you can enjoy this rare adventure since you stumbled on to this!

Itinerary
Kayak schedules are organized according to the current tides as the caves we are visiting can only be accessed at a certain tide. Guide will share knowledge on caves, ecology, conservation and tales of Langkawi
1100: Meet-up at Kilim Jetty,boat transfer from jetty to the fish farm
1130: Briefing and start paddling from the fish farm to the first cave
1145: Arrived,15 mins hike to the cave entrance
1200: Arrived at cave entrance
1245: Paddle from the first cave to the second cave
1315: Arrived at the second cave (Crocodile Cave)
1330: Paddle more inwards along the stream surrounded with mangroves trees
1345: Paddle back to the fish farm
1445: Arrived at the fish farm
1500: Lunch
1530: Boat to Bat Cave
1600: Boat back to Kilim Jetty

Langkawi is easily accessible by a one hour flight from Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA). Malaysia Airlines and AirAsia have daily flights to Langkawi. Langkawi can be visited all year round. The peak season is from November to February. We can organise pick up from your accommodation in Langkawi. There may be additional transport fee, depending on where you stay.<
