Regular Laban Rata Accommodation

The regular summit accommodation at Laban Rata was once the only sheltered accommodation you could find near Mount Kinabalu's peak short of camping in tents. There are several lodges here with Laban Rata Resthouse being the only heated accommodation and fitted with the main dining hall.

Reservations for all Laban Rata accommodation are usually hard to attain since many large travel agencies have pre-booked the beds ahead of time and possibly have special contracts with the management.

Our suggestions is to go with the Via Ferrata package which has its own accommodation but if you are committed to only summiting Mount Kinabalu and not wanting the added thrills of negotiating a via ferrata course then we will source a Laban Rata accommodation. Bear in mind, there is scarcity and you have to be flexible on dates and be prepared to make immediate payment to confirm.
