Coral Redang Island resort is one of our favourite resorts on Redang island. Far from the deafening karaokes and beach discos, this resort lulls to its own laidback beat. Clean, cozy, excellent customer service and well appointed chalets make this a memorable location. There is an excellent pool bar with great cocktails.
Mount Murud (2423m) is Sarawak's highest mountain and is also know as the Holy Mountain where many devout Christians amongst the local natives come to this beautiful mountain at least once a year to celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ. The Kelabit highlands is one of Sarawak's last unspoiled regions with beautiful flora and a cool refreshing climate. The journey from the lowlands to highlands will have you passing by green pastures of fruit orchards, paddy fields with buffaloes and other farmland animals and rustic wooden homes that's surrounded by virgin jungle. There are plenty opportunities to interact with the friendly natives, mainly Lun Bawang and Kelabit tribes.
