We've gotten our Paramotor friend, James, who distributes Nirvana brand paramotor equipment and offers courses to fly tandem rides in his special trike unit during the weekends! What else could you do here?
This fun day trip is held in Pulau Indah located in the coastal area of Klang town which is located in the state of Selangor. Being by the sea, it is no surprise that Klang holds a reputation for excellent seafood food. This adventure doubles as an opportunity for you to visit a different side of Selangor and taste the gastronomic delights here.
If food is not enough to attract you here? Then come earlier in the day to visit Mah Meri village. Mah Meri belong to the Senoi subgroup and are part of the Malaysian Orang Asli (indigenous tribe) community living in a nearby destination called Pulau Carey (Carey Island). They are famous for their traditional statue carvings on an almost extinct mangrove hardwood called Nyireh Batu. Need more activities and destinations? There is Pulau Ketam (Crab Island), Morib, Tanjung Sepat, Bagan Lalang and the list goes on....
Itinerary for Discovery Program
Activity is held inbetween Instructors classes between 4pm-7pm
Combination of tandem flights on a powered paragliding trike (3 wheel frame) and hands-on ground testing of paragliding wings/glider. The hands-on experience is absolutely amazing activity as you learn to harness the power of the wind to carry your body. The ground training is fun yet tiring and frustrating activity as you learn to read the winds at the same time handle the cables to keep the wings up in the air. You might even find yourself airborne!
After the fun and work out, you can venture on your own into Klang's infamous seafood restaurants located in Teluk Gong, Pandamaran and Tanjung Harapan to savour their affordable and very tasty seafood cuisine. Alternatively, you can seek out many of other Klang's famous cuisines such as the its notoriety for Bak Kut Teh (herbal pork broth), Cendol (an Indian dessert of green bean jelly in coconut milk with brown palm sugar)) andFish head curry. You will be spoiled for choice.

Is Paramotor safe?
The only bruises you might get is from playing with the wings or glider on ground.
The pilot is an experienced paramotor instructor and he does his own maintenance. The worse thing that could happen if a motor fails is to... just continue gliding in the wind until its time to return to ground.

Discovery Paramotor. RM200 per pax. Min 2pax (weekends)
Whats included?
Rate quoted will include safety briefing, introduction to paragliding equipment & basic theories, ground testing of paragliding gear, Average 10-15 min tandem flight per pax.
Whats excluded?
Exclude personal accident insurance, land transfers (Transfers can be organized at extra cost)
If you suddenly get bitten by the air-bug after this activity, a minimum 4-5 day (or up to 20 hours of training) Paragliding course is estimated at RM3,800 per person. Paramotor equipment can be purchased after the course.
Limitations
- Usually only weekends unless pilot is onsite. Weekdays require minimum 5 persons.

Participant must be 16years and above, with matured mind and able to listen to the instructor
- Individual passenger body weight preferred NOT to exceed 80kgs.
- There is only one set of tandem trike unit hence each passenger will wait their turn. The people waiting will be introduced to paragliding equipment and perform the ground testing of the wings/glider. If there are more than 7pax, we will organise a separate tandem unit.
What you need to bring/wear?
Activity is at a large field near the coast and there is only one tree to seek shelter. It can be quite warm as some physical activity is required. Bring a picnic basket as there are no shops within walking distance.
Dress cool, comfortable and casual with shorts, t-shirt and a hat. There are no proper toilet amenities.
For footwear, flat-soled trainers are OK though no sandals or slippers. Hiking or trainer boots are highly recommended as these provide more ankle support. Don’t forget sun block, insect repellent,important), towel, foldable chair and a change of clothes.
Getting here
The drive from Kuala Lumpur is approximately 1 hour without the consideration of traffic jams. There is no public transportation.
